Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems, including experience with low voltage installations, industrial settings, and renovation projects. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can read blueprints and adhere to the National Electrical Code (NEC) while ensuring safety and efficiency in all tasks.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Work with logic controllers to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues.
- Utilize voltmeters and other diagnostic tools to assess system performance.
- Read and interpret blueprints to execute electrical installations accurately.
- Perform renovations that involve electrical work, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and handymen, to complete projects efficiently.
- Ensure all work adheres to NEC guidelines and local codes.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they become problems.
Requirements
- Valid electrician's license or certification as a Journeyperson Electrician.
- Proficiency in working with low voltage systems and industrial electrical applications.
- Strong skills in blueprint reading and understanding of NEC regulations.
- Experience in frame carpentry is a plus for renovation projects.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.

Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
