Job Description:
o Self-Perform Service, Startups and Warranty repairs for all types of HVAC Systems
o 3 to 150 TON RTU’s, VAV’s, VFD’s, Gas, and electric unit heaters, Liebert’s / CRAC, mini-splits, split systems, VRF, and chiller Systems, air and water cooled for both commercial and industrial.
o Positively respond to heavy workload of service calls in a professional manner.
o The ability, knowledge, and willingness to assist and train entry to mid-level service techs to help them continue their growth in the industry.
o Ensure customers' questions/concerns have been addressed before leaving the work site.
o Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair various make and models of equipment.
o Demonstrate the ability to determine priorities based on call schedule, respond to inadvertent interruptions, carry proper tools and materials.
o Knowledge of methods, tools, and equipment used in the repair of air and water cooled, heating and air condition equipment in commercial and industrial buildings
o Knowledge of electrical and control systems
o Keep supervisor and manager informed of new developments, changes, or customer complaints
o Participate in on call rotation, volunteer to take on new challenges and work assignments.
o Be available to work nights or weekends, on a rotating basis, to service the emergency needs of our customers.
o Excellent customer service skills with desire to exceed customer expectations.
o Maintain accurate and complete invoices, paperwork and other procedures to company standards.
o Excited to participate in a company that provides training opportunities when those opportunities present themselves
o Maintain the highest safety standards and wear all PPE while working on the job.
Requirements:
o 10+ Years of commercial as a HVAC Service Technician.
o The ability to work independently or as part of a team and ensure our goals of quality service and workmanship that exceed the industry standards.
o Have thorough knowledge in troubleshooting, diagnose and repair various make and models of all types of HVAC equipment and systems.
o Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
o Valid social security number
o Must be able to pass a Background check.
o Must be able to pass drug test(s) as required.
o Lift up to 50 pounds; be able to push, pull, carry, or maneuver heavier items (with additional manpower or appropriate devices); carry ladders; work from heights, work in small crawl spaces.
o Observe all company procedures and safety rules.
o Maintain accurate records.
o Professional speech when communicating to customers & teammates.
o Daily clean, neat, professional appearance.
