Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in property maintenance, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair refrigeration systems. This role requires a hands-on approach to building, maintaining, and servicing refrigeration units, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems in various settings.
- Diagnose issues using tools such as an Ohmmeter and schematics to identify problems accurately.
- Perform routine maintenance checks and ensure all equipment is functioning efficiently.
- Weld components as necessary to ensure proper assembly and repair of refrigeration units.
- Provide field service support, responding promptly to service calls and customer inquiries.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used for inventory management.
- Collaborate with other technicians and staff to ensure seamless operations within the facility.
- Drive company vehicles as needed to transport tools and equipment to job sites.
Experience
- Proven experience in refrigeration or HVAC systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with property maintenance practices is a plus.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
- Experience with welding techniques is beneficial for repairs and installations.
- Previous field service experience will be considered an asset.
- A valid driver's license is required for van driving responsibilities associated with the role.

Pay: $29.00 - $40.00 per hour
