*Job Overview*
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations in our vibrant dining establishment. *Duties*
- Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and high-quality service.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance, including kitchen personnel and front-of-house team members.
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and maintain kitchen equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Oversee budgeting processes and financial management to achieve profitability targets.
- Implement and enforce health and safety regulations in compliance with local laws.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with chefs on menu planning and culinary presentation.
- Utilize POS system for tracking sales, managing labor, and processing transactions.
- Conduct interviews for new hires and participate in staff recruitment efforts.
*Experience*
- Proven experience in restaurant management or as an assistant manager in a food service environment.
- Strong background in culinary practices with knowledge of kitchen operations.
- Proficient in food service management principles including budgeting and inventory control.
- Experience using POS systems, particularly Toast, is highly desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with both staff and customers.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
