Journeyman/Apprentice Electrician Position
Position Overview
Seeking an experienced residential electrician for kitchen remodeling projects and general electrical work. Minimum 3 years residential experience required.
Schedule & Requirements
- Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Valid driver's license required
- Minimum 3 years residential electrical experience
Primary Responsibilities
Kitchen Remodeling
- Interpret kitchen layout and cabinet drawings
- Material management for rough-in and trim-out phases
- Install AFCI/GFCI protection per code requirements
- Install LED recessed lighting and under-cabinet LED strip lighting
- Install dedicated circuits for appliances
- Install specialized circuits (oven, cooktop, AC, EV charging)
General Electrical Work
- Generator installations (interlock kits, plugs, standby units)
- Surge protector installation
- Electrical troubleshooting
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of residential electrical codes
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Experience with kitchen remodel electrical requirements
- Proficiency in circuit installation and protection
- Troubleshooting expertise
- Material tracking and inventory management
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Climb ladders and work at heights
- Stand for extended periods
