Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, with the ability to install, maintain, and repair various HVAC equipment. The HVAC Installer will work on-site at residential and commercial properties, ensuring that all installations meet industry standards and customer expectations.
Responsibilities
- Install heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems according to specifications and safety standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC equipment, providing effective solutions.
- Collaborate with team members to design and implement efficient HVAC systems for new constructions or renovations.
- Conduct field service visits to assess customer needs and provide recommendations for system upgrades or replacements.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations during installations.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in HVAC installation or related fields such as appliance repair or property maintenance.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to plumb and weld as needed for installations.
- Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.
- Ability to design efficient HVAC systems tailored to specific property requirements.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with a focus on field service operations.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
- Must be able to lift heavy equipment and work in various environmental conditions.
