We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at The Siren Hotel. The ideal candidate will possess advanced technical skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to providing exceptional service. This role involves performing advanced maintenance and repairs across hotel facilities to ensure a safe, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing environment for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs and maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building structures.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues and perform preventive maintenance.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Collaborate with other departments to facilitate smooth operations and enhance guest experiences.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inventory, and repairs.
- Assist in the training and mentoring of junior maintenance staff.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hotel policies, including proper handling of hazardous materials.
- Participate in emergency response planning and execute necessary actions during emergencies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in maintenance or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in building maintenance, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general maintenance practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record may be required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment 75 lbs
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including exposure to heat, cold, and wet conditions.
- Capability to stand, walk, climb, and bend for extended periods.
Your experience and skills include:
- Experience in the hotel industry or multifamily housing but not required
- Excellent customer service skills and general computer knowledge.

- Previous experience in a maintenance role required
- Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required
- Must possess a professional presentation
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
