The Maintenance Technician is responsible for hands-on maintenance tasks and proactive facility support to ensure building systems and equipment remain fully operational and safe. This role is ideal for a self-starter who can independently prioritize and resolve maintenance needs while fostering strong tenant relations.

Basic Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years old or older
High school diploma, GED or suitable equivalent
- Refrigeration/HVAC Trade or Vocational certification required.
- 1+ year experience as an HVAC technician, and willingness to continue education in HVAC field.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime and optimize performance.: Proactively inspect building grounds and equipment for potential issues, promptly reporting unsafe conditions to management.
- Respond efficiently to tenant service requests, ensuring satisfaction through timely and professional interactions.
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections accurately in both computerized and manual logs.
- Independently perform routine maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical components, and kitchen equipment. Assist with complex tasks as needed to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.
- Manage stock of parts and supplies to ensure readiness for maintenance tasks, proactively ordering items as required.
- Respond quickly to emergencies, troubleshoot issues, and resolve concerns to minimize disruption.
- Perform minor repairs such as filter replacements, fixture adjustments, and small patching tasks to ensure facility upkeep.
- Work with vendors to ensure compliance and quality performance, aligning their activities with organizational goals.
- Keep the maintenance workspace organized and orderly, demonstrating strong self-management skills.
- Collaborate daily with property management, Hyatt engineering staff, security, tenants and contractors to maintain smooth operations
- Perform cosmetic and architectural repairs to maintain the aesthetic quality of the facility, including furniture, fixtures, equipment (FFE), doors, hardware, lock, windows, ceilings, paint, patching walls, and floors.
- Complete assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs requiring conveyor, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, instrumentation, HVAC and other equipment, systems or structures
- Ensure repairs and maintenance to all equipment and facilities
- Respond to spills and other emergency situations, performing janitorial and maintenance tasks as necessaryAssist in client, site or customer emergencies as needed
