Foreman will assist the Lead Foreman in the supervision and monitoring of crew members and provide guidance as needed multiple projects simultaneously. Performs a wide variety of highly skilled electronic system trouble shooting, maintenance, testing, and repairs; exercises work direction over a small group of subordinate skilled and semi-skilled staff engaged in such work; and performs related duties as required.

- Assist in the supervision of a small group of skilled, semi-skilled and support staff performing trouble-shooting, maintenance, repair, calibration, fabrication, installation, design, modification and development of a wide variety of electronic systems.
- Perform quality assurance tests; assist in developing and modifying maintenance and repair policies and procedures.
- Advise staff in solving difficult problems, assist in training and interpreting policy; enforces safety procedures; analyzes equipment failures, personnel or operational problems and reports to supervisor.
- Instruct personnel in system maintenance procedures and operations; may advise and assist management personnel and others on operating problems.
- Analyze chronic equipment failure, design system improvements, estimate project time and costs, or prepare specialized reports of project activities.
- Assist in the maintenance of detailed files and record-keeping system to assure accurate and complete documentation of payroll/personnel.
- Operate a motor vehicle to respond to service requests at various locations.
- Adhere to policy and procedures, work site rules, practices, standard operating procedures and other management control documents.
- Maintain familiarity with plans and specifications for each project and consult Foreman and/or Assistant Operations Manager regarding interpretation and code requirements.
- Hold an up-to-date journeyman's license and be educated in current National Electrical Guide (NEG) code requirements and changes as they occur.
- Must be familiar with standard operating procedures and forms as set forth in guidelines only to the extent that these guidelines assist with project liaison responsibilities.
- Maintain knowledge of current line spots as they expire to ensure safety and avoid extra job costs.
- Assist Lead Foreman to identify and report personnel matters and concerns (e.g., attendance, dress code, behavior and performance) to Assistant Operations Manager immediately to ensure proper action is taken and matters are addressed immediately.
- Report to the jobsite on time every day and through toolbox talks delegate work assignments on a daily basis. Report non-compliance and personnel matters to Lead Foreman.
- Establish and strictly enforce reporting, break, lunch, clean up, and quitting time; report non- compliance to Lead Foreman.
- Accurately maintain or delegate the maintenance of daily and weekly time sheets, and daily log book.
- Strictly adhere and enforce any substance abuse (or suspicion of abuse) by reporting to Lead Foreman or human resources immediately.
- Assist in the maintenance of t h e Job Quality Book with accuracy in a timely manner.
- Create and maintain a clean set of as-built vs as designed updating daily/weekly.
- Assist in the tracking of all jobsite changes, quick quotes, t ime and materials (T&Ms), additional work authorizations (AWA s) and process in a timely manner.
- Ensure appropriate use of forms in order to run efficient projects.
- Understand and provide direction regarding the installation of equipment using submittals and installation instructions provided with the equipment.
- Plan material/tool/equipment and labor needs as the job schedule dictates; report to office tools that need to be repaired or replaced.
- Plan pre-fab applications for every phase of project; consult with Lead Foreman and/or Assistant Operations Manager; provide information in a timely manner for pre-fab crew to build components.
- Assist in the maintenance of current and accurate records regarding the ordering and storing of all materials, equipment, special materials, and tools.
- Strictly enforce good housekeeping practices in storage areas, trailers, trucks, and
- Assign no more than two (2) personnel (three (3) for extremely large projects) who will be allowed in any material storage area to maintain organization of parts.
- Assist in the delegation of assignments, provide time frame to accomplish assignments, order material from appropriate supply house or warehouse to allow for timely delivery to project location.
- Ensure staff is working in their assigned area and that they do not leave for any reason other than during an emergency, workplace injury, scheduled breaks and restroom breaks.
- Work alongside crews to accomplish tasks (as dictated by scope and size of project).
- Assist in the oversight of rental equipment usage (ordering, usage, and return) to ensure that overbilling does not occur.
- Collaborate and assist with the strict enforcement of safety policies and standard operating procedures, including proper use of PPE; report violations to Lead Foreman.
- Notify Assistant Operations Manager/Corporate office IMMEDIATELY of any hazardous or dangerous work conditions; evacuate crew from area if danger is eminent.
- Document and report all safety violations and incidents immediately and request direction from Lead Foreman, or Assistant Operations Manager.
- Strictly adhere to vehicle policies for use of assigned fleet vehicles.
- Interface with all subcontractors in order to make certain that the project progresses smoothly and in compliance with the scope of work.
- Coordinate with other trades in an ethical and professional manner and treat co-workers with integrity and respect.

- Associate's degree in Electronics or other related field preferred.
- Minimum one (1) to three (3) years relevant experience in electrical trade.
- MUST be willing and able to train others.
- Knowledge of automation systems, HVAC, electrical concepts, computer networks, and building operations preferred.
- Skilled in programming, job start-up and checkout, and troubleshooting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and customer relation skills required.
- Licensed Journeymen Electrician (EE98J).
- OSHA 10 Card or willingness to obtain one.
- Proficient in basic computer skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- The job requires the ability to balance/climb, bend over, crawl, crouch/stoop, drive, hear, kneel, reach overhead, sit, stand, talk, turn/twist, walk and repetitively use hands 51-10% of the time.
- Requires the ability to solve problems, organize, plan, make decisions, interpret data, read and write the majority of the time.
- Train, recommend discipline, schedule, apportion work, direct, appraise productivity, and measure, document and report performance.
- The job is performed indoors/outdoors with exposure to hot/cold temperatures, loud noises, and confined areas.
- Must maintain any and all licenses and/or certifications required to operate in the State of New Mexico.
