We are currently seeking a dedicated Dig Crew Helper to join our dynamic team and contribute to our ongoing success.
Job Summary: The Dig Crew Member will be responsible for performing various manual labor tasks to support excavation and construction projects. This role involves Maintaining equipment, preparing sites, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain excavation equipment, such as backhoes, excavators, and trenchers.
Perform site preparation tasks, including clearing, grading, and trenching.
Follow safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
Assist in the installation and repair of underground utilities, such as water, sewer, and electrical systems.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate tasks and ensure project completion.
Conduct daily safety inspections of equipment and job sites.
Handle physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience working on a dig crew or in a similar construction role.
Proficiency in operating excavation equipment.
Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
Physically fit and capable of performing demanding labor tasks.
