Engineered Corrosion Solutions has a unique career to offer - we are looking for a detail-oriented, self-motivated person who’s excited to travel around the country and work with a variety of different people and on a variety of different job sites. This position will care for ECS' valued customers through onsite equipment startups, service, and specialized training. The field service technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, performing preventative maintenance, and performing startups on ECS equipment. This position reports to the Technical Services Manager.
A willingness to travel and ability to collaborate with many personality types is all that is required for this position. If you join our team, we will teach you all necessary skills for the position. Within six (6) months you will be traveling coast to coast to service ECS equipment installations. One week you may visit an auto plant in Arkansas, the next a top-secret site in remote Alaska – and you’ll be back home every weekend.
Job Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Performing preventive maintenance.
- Diagnosing problems.
- Performing repairs.
- Performing start-ups on new equipment.
- Performing warranty work on new equipment.
- Processing required documentation in a timely manner using laptop.
- Communicating repairs needed to both the customer and service manager.
- Maintaining accurate parts inventory.
- Tracking time and expenses each day.
- Cleaning up jobsite after completing work.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:
- Good organizational skills
- Able to work well unsupervised
- Attention to detail
- Excellent customer relation skills
- Self-motivated
- Mechanical/electrical aptitude
- Able to comprehend and troubleshoot using mechanical drawings and wiring schematics.
- Knowledge of A/C and D/C electrical systems
- Willingness to train in the company programs to enhance his or her knowledge.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
