We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Appliance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of commercial appliances. Your expertise will ensure that our customers receive high-quality service and support, enhancing their satisfaction with our products. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair various commerial appliances including refrigerators, walk-ins, fryers , stoves, ovens, ice machines and HVAC (R)systems.
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot appliance issues effectively.
- Perform routine maintenance on appliances to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize mechanical skills to repair equipment and replace defective parts as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used.
- Operate a box truck for transporting tools and equipment to job sites as necessary.
- Adhere to safety protocols while working in customers' homes or commercial settings.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in appliance repair or as a service technician is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with electrical systems.
- Familiarity with HVAC (R) systems is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand schematics and technical documents.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
