We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead our electrical team on various construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, technical expertise, and a thorough understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols. This role requires effective management of resources, adherence to project timelines, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of electrical workers on-site to ensure efficient workflow.
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to plan electrical installations and modifications.
- Conduct regular inspections of work sites to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standards.
- Perform construction estimating to assess project costs and resource needs.
- Manage the use of tools such as ohmmeters for testing electrical systems.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior electricians, fostering a culture of safety and quality workmanship.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems within the overall project framework.
Skills
- Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding complex electrical schematics.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations related to electrical work.
- Experience with construction estimating techniques for accurate budgeting.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, particularly in troubleshooting electrical issues on-site.
- Knowledgeable in pipeline installation processes related to electrical systems.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
