We are excited to share the opportunity for an experienced Total Station Operator to join our team and look forward to reviewing your resume.
As a Total Station Operator with Wilson Electric, you are responsible for collecting coordinates and providing precise layout in the field for conduit, equipment, light fixtures and more with a high level of precision for commercial electrical jobs. This position integrates constantly with our VDC/BIM department to create accurate drawings and electrical installations.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to operate a Trimble Robotic Total Station without assistance
- Layout construction sites for installation requirements
- Loading field data into computer
- Check measurements and review and verify against plans
- Relaying data/information to the VDC/BIM department
- Maintaining accurate field notes
- Perform other electrical duties as needed or directed.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience or an Associates Degree in a related technical field plus two years related experience preferred
- CST Level II certification preferred
- Working knowledge of basic Electrical codes and layouts
- Utilize all survey instruments and tools, calculators, field books, plans, and plats
- Strong math skills including the ability to perform all associated mathematical calculations
- Valid Driver License
- Must be able to travel between site locations
- Able to work alone or on a team
- Comfortable working on construction sites
