We are looking to hire a passionate, self-driven Electrician to support the production of the MyLand Systems, utilized by our partners to increase soil health and productivity. The ideal candidate will have the ability to effectively communicate, execute project timelines, and support team efforts. This position will support the organization’s production goals, overall business plans, and key objectives by performing and delegating tasks.
This full-time position will report to the Director of Manufacturing and will be based in our Phoenix office.
Responsibilities
- Installing and Replacing Wiring. Setting up new wiring systems and replacing old or faulty wiring.
- Troubleshooting Electrical Issues. Diagnosing and fixing electrical problems using various testing devices.
- Reading and assisting in developing blueprints and technical diagrams. Understanding and following detailed plans to ensure proper installation and safety compliance.
- Maintenance of electrical systems. Regularly inspecting and maintaining electrical systems to prevent issues, promote process improvement and ensure safety.
- Using Tools and Equipment. Effectively operating tools such as ammeters, voltmeters, thermal scanners, and cable testers.
- Adhering to Regulations. Following all state and local building regulations to ensure all work is up to code.
- Keeping detailed records of work performed and materials used.
- Effectively lead, train, and coach team members as needed.
Skills & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED with completion of appropriate vocational school electrician training program or apprenticeship.
- Must have a valid electrician’s license.
- 4 years of recent experience as an Electrician
- Proficiency in using electrical tools and understanding electrical systems.
- Problem-Solving Abilities. Strong skills in diagnosing and resolving electrical issues.
- Attention to Detail. Ensuring all work is precise and meets safety standards.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to read and apply work instructions.
- Ability to read and interpret technical and operational manuals, blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
- Adhere to defined quality system regulations, safety, and housekeeping practices, as required by the work area.
- Understand safety hazards and adhere to safety regulations to protect oneself and others.
- Initiate, review, and follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) for area of responsibility.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal communication, and collaboration skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.
