Job Description
We are seeking skilled and professional Journeyman Electricians to join our well-established team. You will contribute to private and prevailing wage projects, delivering high-quality electrical services with precision and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Work on jobs in the Phoenix area, throughout Arizona, and California and Nevada as necessary
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Perform conduit installation, bending, and removal; lighting fixtures/systems replacements; and connections for electrical panels, transformers, switches, motors, and circuit breakers.
- Work safely from ladders, scaffolds, roofs, and confined spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, mechanical rooms).
- Ensure compliance with all local regulations, safety guidelines, and company policies.
- Take ownership of project quality and ensure client satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with Project Managers and Supervisors regarding progress and project needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of completed work.
- Deliver superior service to clients while upholding ABS’s commitment to quality and safety.
Requirements
- Certification: Current Journeyman Electrician’s License (proof required with application).
- Experience: 10+ years of commercial electrical experience.
- Tools: Own basic electrical tools.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation for travel to various job sites.
- Physical Capability:
- Lift 50+ lbs. regularly and 100+ lbs. occasionally.
- Flexibility:
- Willing to travel and work flexible schedules (Monday-Friday, with occasional weekends or evenings).
- Screening:
- Ability to pass drug and background checks.
Valued Experience and Certifications
In addition to the required certifications, we value candidates with experience with EV charging, battery storage, and solar projects.
Certifications:
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification
- EVITP (Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Training Program) Certification
- NFPA 70E Certification
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- Lift/Scissor Lift Certification
- Confined Space Entry Certification
- BICSI Installer/Technician Certification
