Job Summary
Without supervision and ability to work as lead, the HVAC Technician III is responsible for performing repair, maintenance, adjustment and replacement of pneumatic, mechanical and/or direct digital temperature control systems and equipment. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital.
Required Skills
High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED), Trade School Certificate with focus on mechanical systems or equivalent on the job training. EPA Universal Certification required. Must have 5 years’ work experience in the operation and maintenance of HVAC systems in a Healthcare Plant Operations related setting. Graduate from an accredited Technical School of HVAC preferred. General HVAC Journeyman Maintenance experience. Mechanical and electrical background. Ability to discern and analyze HVAC problems.
