Position Title: FACILITIES MANAGER
Reports To: Director of Facilities
FLSA: Full-time, Exempt

St. Mary’s Parish is a vibrant Catholic congregation located in Historic Annapolis, Maryland serving over 5,000
families. St. Mary’s Parish includes St. Mary’s Church, St. John Neumann Mission Church, St. Mary’s Elementary
School and St. Mary’s High School.
Position Summary: The Facilities Manager will manage all aspects of the facilities and maintenance
for the Parish complex. Supervise maintenance and facilities staff as assigned. Oversee all resources to
insure smooth and efficient operations of the campus 365 days per year/24 hours per day.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations as these operations relate to all facilities, buildings, grounds
and maintenance thereof.
- Assist Director of Facilities with project management for major renovation and new
construction projects:
o Monitor project costs for compliance with budget
o Coordinate selection of contractors; write and send RFP’s to contractors; oversee
bid process.
o Evaluate design professionals and contractors for possible use; maintain list of
approved professionals.
o Review and advise on major issues during the course of renovations and
projects; observe and advise of project schedule.
o Assemble and file complete project and cost records for all projects and related
services.
- Assist with preparing and monitoring facilities and maintenance budgets.
- Assist Director of Faculties with coordinating staff work schedules to control cost and
provide efficient operations.
- Assist in review of feasibility studies and cost estimates and act as a resource for budget,
policy and related issues.
- Insure the building and systems meet or exceed MDE and EPA standards.
- Insure compliance with all aspects of preventative maintenance program.
