Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in the installation of automation systems for conveyors, robots, and other material handling control systems. Looking for individuals who are driven, willing to travel, and have excellent problem solving abilities.
Duties
- Install material handling control systems for conveyors, robotics, AS/RS, etc.
- Collaborate with team members to plan and advise on controls systems design according to specifications
- Rework existing controls installations to account for added system capabilities or modify design work as required
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve control systems during installation
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ Years Experience
- Experience installing conveyor, ASRS, robotic systems, VLMs, Pick Modules, etc.
- PLC & controls wiring experience
- Experience troubleshooting, diagnosing, and correcting system malfunctions (greenfield & brownfield systems)
- Efficient running rigid conduit
- Solid understanding of reading schematics, high & low voltage systems, & AC / DC systems
- Proficient with Hand & Power Tools
