Maintenance Technician
SUMMARY
We are looking for a responsible and reliable Maintenance Technician to perform day-to-day maintenance repairs for residential buildings and systems with required knowledge of plumbing, electrical, heating and cooling.
To be successful, our Maintenance Technician will complete, document, and communicate with residents and on-site management regarding work orders and preventative maintenance orders. All work will be performed and completed thoroughly, timely, and with high quality.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Prior experience as apartment maintenance technician or similar role.
2. General carpentry, painting, and building repair.
3. Excellent interpersonal organization, and communication skills.
4. Attention to detail in all aspects.
5. Must have working knowledge of various types of tools and equipment used in the mechanical trades.
6. Physical capabilities to stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop, climb ladders, grasp and lift heavy objects up to 75 lbs.
7. Available to adjust work schedule to complete maintenance at other properties. (Mileage compensation provided between properties)
8. Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation always.
9. EPA Universal license preferred but not required.
10. LPO or CPO recommended.

Starting salary is based on years and applicable experience.

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
