Position: HVAC/R Sales

Job Description
We are a Manufacturer’s Representative firm seeking a dedicated and experienced HVAC/R Sales professional to manage and grow relationships with our existing customer base. This is a work-from-home position that requires strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent a portfolio of HVAC/R products and services as a Manufacturer’s Representative.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Develop and execute strategies to sell additional products and services into an assigned book of business.
- Conduct batch calling to reach multiple customers within designated markets to generate leads and maximize sales opportunities efficiently.
- Engage in sales planning, including pre-call preparation and creating detailed weekly itineraries to ensure efficient time management and market coverage.
- Leverage the CRM system (HubSpot) to manage sales pipelines, track opportunities, and accurately report new business.
- Prioritize and manage multiple tasks, projects, and responsibilities effectively.
- Maintain a clean, reliable vehicle for customer visits and travel.
- Travel 20–30 nights per year for customer meetings, training sessions, or industry events.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in the HVAC/R industry (negotiable based on industry knowledge).
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
- Excellent communication and follow-up abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (HubSpot) to track and manage sales opportunities.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Education
- High school diploma required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
- Completion of an HVAC trade school program preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive salary based on industry knowledge and experience.
- Performance-based compensation, including commissions for new business acquired with existing customers. Commissions are tied to accurate tracking and reporting in the CRM system (HubSpot).
