Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing projects from inception to completion, utilizing skills and knowledge in energy system analysis, hvac design, product application and troubleshooting and performance evaluation.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate the design, operation and performance of new and existing heating and cooling energy systems, including energy and economic analysis. Site visits required.
- Assist sales and project development staff with promotion of the concept, value and benefits of the solution to customers. Customers include facility owners and managers, specifying and owner's engineers, prime contractors
- Provide proposal support for direct sales opportunities, including the development of scope of work and cost estimates.
- Provide technical support to owners, project managers and subcontractors during the design and construction phases of projects.
- Provide on-site support during the startup and commissioning phases.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, providing efficient and effective solutions.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure product functionality.
- Some travel required
Requirements
Education, Skills and Competencies:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, mechanical preferred.
- 3+ years' experience in HVAC component and system knowledge and understanding, especially chilled water and control systems.
- Effective communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Strong technical and mechanical aptitude
- Experience with building or industrial communication systems and protocols (BACnet, Modbus, etc.) is a plus
- Well-versed with Windows, word processing (MS Word), spreadsheets (MS Excel), email (MS Outlook), presentation software (MS PowerPoint).

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
