Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, including both low and high voltage applications. This role involves working on various projects, ensuring that all electrical installations and repairs are completed safely and efficiently. The Electrician will be responsible for interpreting schematics, installing fixtures, and utilizing hand tools to complete tasks effectively.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
- Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Perform fixture installation, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various electrical tasks.
- Conduct testing of electrical systems using voltmeters and other diagnostic equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide solutions in a timely manner.
- Work with both low voltage and high voltage systems as required.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure project completion on time.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Skills
- Proficient in electrical work with hands-on experience using hand tools.
- Knowledge of low voltage and high voltage systems is essential.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics accurately.
- Experience with fixture installation in various settings.
- Familiarity with operating forklifts is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
