Located in Woodbury since 1989, AJ Alberts services the 7-county metro area and western WI, performing a wide variety of boiler, plumbing, drain cleaning, and water conditioning services.
Job Summary:
- Position: Full-time Apprentice Plumber located in Woodbury.
- Compensation Type: Hourly
- Compensation: $22.00 to $31.50 per hour
- Benefits: 401K, Health, Dental, PTO.
As an Apprentice Plumber, you will work under the supervision of experienced journeymen to learn the plumbing trade through practical experience and apprenticeship studies. You will assist in a variety of tasks, gaining knowledge and skills in all aspects of plumbing systems and repairs. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist journeyman plumbers in installing and maintaining plumbing systems.
- Help install and maintain water supply systems.
- Locate and repair issues with water supply lines (e.g., leaks).
- Assist in fitting bathrooms including installing showers, sinks, and toilet fixtures.
- Learn how to deliver over-the-top customer service.
- Learn how to stage jobs properly and perform quality work every time.
- Learn how to properly document your work for the customer and your office team.
- Follow health and safety standards and comply with building codes.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Physical ability to lift heavy tools, work in cramped spaces, and stand for long periods.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Desire to do your best in all things and grow your career.
- Must pass a background check.
