Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in both residential and commercial plumbing systems. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and comply with safety standards. The Plumber will work on various projects, including new constructions, remodeling, and maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Perform pipe threading and welding as required for various plumbing installations.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete plumbing tasks.
- Collaborate with construction teams on-site to ensure plumbing systems are integrated properly into building designs.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on HVAC systems related to plumbing functions.
- Troubleshoot issues with existing plumbing systems and provide effective solutions.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations during all plumbing work.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Plumber or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with various hand tools and equipment.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
- Experience in pipe threading and welding techniques preferred.
- Valid commercial driving license is an advantage for transporting materials to job sites.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team on construction sites.
