Summary: Immediate opening for an Experienced Plumber with one-two years’ experience to work in Florida project location. The Experience Plumber of the Integ Miami LLC is a wonderful opportunity for someone who desires to join a growing industry leader and has a passion for exceeding our client’s expectations. She/he will be responsible for installs, maintains, and repairs pipes and fixtures associated with heating, cooling, water distribution, and sanitation systems commercial structures. Inspects drainage and other plumbing systems for compliance with local and national regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Assemble pipe sections, tubing and fittings, using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvents, caulking, soldering, brazing, Pro-pressing, or welding equipment.
- Fill pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air and observe pressure gauges to detect and locate leaks.
- Review blueprints know building codes and review specifications to determine work details and procedures.
- Locate and mark the position of pipe installations, connections, passage holes, and fixtures in structures, using measuring instruments such as rulers, lasers, and levels.
- Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to required angles, using hand and power tools or machines such as pipe cutters, pipe-threading machines, and pipe-bending machines.
- Install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, water heaters, and fixtures such as, but not limited to sinks and toilets, using hand and power tools.
- Cut openings in structures to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings, using hand and power tools.
- Install underground storm, sanitary and water piping systems and extend piping to connect fixtures and plumbing to these systems.
- Install oxygen and medical gas if licensed to do so.
- Install plumbing inside, outside, on the floor level, below grade, and in the ceiling.
- Follows health and safety standards and complies with building codes.
- Perform complex wiring of components and equipment using power and hand tools.
- Maintain inventory accuracy
- Complete paperwork when additional material or parts are required
- Complete paperwork when excess material or parts are being returned to the stockroom
- Always practice good housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe work area
Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge & Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- OSHA 10 hour certified preferred. Must always put SAFETY FIRST.
- A minimum 1-2 years of experience.
- Must have reliable transportation and willing to go to job sites in the areas we work.
- Must be a team player and take pride in all work.
- Must be able to work overtime as required.
