Overview
We are looking for an experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team and drive our operations to new heights. The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction industry, particularly in high-rise buildings, yard & equipment maintenance management, inbound/receiving of products, and customer service.

Responsibilities
- Operational Support: Assist the General Manager in overseeing the scheduling, fabrication and distribution of rebar
- Customer Service: Maintain proactive communication with customers to understand their needs and coordinate with our internal team to resolve any issues
- Inbound/Receiving: Manage receiving of product from truck and rail car, ensure orders are correct, ensure proper placement of inventory in the yard, and coordinate with forklift drivers and rail company (CSX) to unload product
- Maintenance Management: Ensure operational efficiency by overseeing building and equipment maintenance, managing preventive maintenance schedules, and assisting with vendor procurement
- Employee Management: Assist in supervising and managing a team of over 50 employees, fostering a positive work environment
Skills and Qualifications
- Bilingual: Proficiency in both English and Spanish is required
- Industry Experience: Strong background in the construction industry, specifically with high-rise buildings
- Product Knowledge: Familiarity with rebar, rebar fabrication, and construction site requirements for receiving and installing rebar
- Customer Service: Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on resolving issues and enhancing client satisfaction
- Independent and Motivated: Self-driven with the ability to think independently and motivate others

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Hourly, Overtime and Bonus Eligible, $60,000 - $75,000.00 Per Year
Hours: Base Hours: Monday through Friday, 6 AM to 4:30 PM, Availability to work until 6:00 PM and Saturdays as needed.
