We are an established store that serves the beekeeping community through beekeeping classes, offering products needed to raise honeybees, selling honeybees and queens, and helping beekeepers with any problems or questions they may have. While we are a small store, we have a big heart for the beekeeping industry and desire to help beekeepers everywhere as much as we can.
5 years managerial experience is preferred. Warehouse experience is a plus. Health insurance is offered.
Primary Objectives for Manager

· Create, follow and implement efficient practices and improve upon financial status

· Take initiative for projects and improvements
· Understand and troubleshoot our POS, website and other technical aspects used in store
· Fulfill the standard for continuing education on a set schedule
· Organize and occasionally lead tours of our facility
Responsibilities
· Set staff work schedules
· Provide oversight and direction to staff holding them accountable for job performance, assigned tasks and continuing education
· Report directly to regional manager on a regular basis
· Oversee the operations and fiscal health of the store and provide regular performance reports to regional management
· Maintain work systems, procedures and policies
· Lead and motivate the staff to optimum performance
· Keep organized records of staff reviews, sales, goals and results
· Recruit, interview, hire and employ an appropriate number of employees
· Delegate responsibility and expect accountability and regular feedback
· Foster a spirit of teamwork and unity, that allows for disagreement over ideas, but executes speedy conflict resolution when necessary
· Solve problems with customers and staff as needed
· Become knowledgeable in beekeeping with training provided by TBS
· Maintain a clean, well-organized workspace, store, and warehouse
· Accurately track classes, bee and queen sales
· Attend Beekeeping Conferences as needed (minimal travel)

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
