Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities maintenance and be proficient in various technical skills necessary for maintaining and repairing equipment and systems. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
- Fabricate parts as needed to ensure the functionality of equipment.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and inventory.
- Conduct inspections of facilities to identify issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Interpret schematics and technical drawings to troubleshoot equipment problems effectively.
- Lead small teams on specific projects or tasks when necessary, providing guidance and support.
- Execute residential painting projects as needed to maintain the aesthetic quality of facilities.
- Use tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and diagnostics.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations across all facilities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including logic controllers, with the ability to troubleshoot effectively.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for tracking maintenance activities is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documents accurately.
- Excellent leadership skills with the capability to manage small teams effectively.
- Experience in residential painting is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed.
- Ability to work independently while also being an effective team player.

Pay: $27.00 - $33.00 per hour
