Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities maintenance and be proficient in various technical skills necessary for maintaining and repairing equipment and systems. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
Fabricate parts as needed to ensure the functionality of equipment.
Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and inventory.
Conduct inspections of facilities to identify issues and implement corrective actions.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
Interpret schematics and technical drawings to troubleshoot equipment problems effectively.
Lead small teams on specific projects or tasks when necessary, providing guidance and support.
Execute residential painting projects as needed to maintain the aesthetic quality of facilities.
Use tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and diagnostics.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations across all facilities.

Requirements

Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including logic controllers, with the ability to troubleshoot effectively.
Familiarity with CMMS software for tracking maintenance activities is preferred.
Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documents accurately.
Excellent leadership skills with the capability to manage small teams effectively.
Experience in residential painting is a plus but not mandatory.
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed.
Ability to work independently while also being an effective team player.

Pay: $27.00 - $33.00 per hour
