Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Industrial Electrical Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance and a passion for troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues. This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires a hands-on approach to electrical systems, including high-voltage equipment.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, including high-voltage equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems using logic controllers and schematics.
- Calibrate and maintain vision inspection systems and other electrical devices.
- Conduct field service calls to repair and maintain electrical systems in remote locations.
- Utilize AutoCAD to create and review electrical schematics.
- Work with Calypso systems and other industrial maintenance equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections and testing to ensure electrical systems are operating safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to resolve complex electrical issues.
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices for electrical maintenance and repair.
Qualifications:
- A strong background in electrical maintenance and repair.
- Experience with high-voltage electrical systems.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and electrical schematics.
- Knowledge of logic controllers and their applications.
- Experience with vision inspection systems and industrial maintenance equipment.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A valid driver's license and ability to travel to remote locations for field service calls.
