Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Controls Technician to join our team. . The technician will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems in commercial settings.
Duties
- Strong knowledge and practical experience with commercial HVAC systems, sequences of operation, controls concepts/applications and programming/troubleshooting/editing DDC controls programs
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings
- Computer user experience (Word, Excel, Graphics software, etc.), including performing computer backups and software updates.Self-motivated and capable of working independently and as a member of a team
- Ability to walk up and down stairs and work from ladders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings related to HVAC systems.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to drive a van for service calls is required.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in the field.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Certification or relevant training in HVAC technology is a plus.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed to meet customer demands.
