This is a full-time, direct placement role at Hardesty.

Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot different types of HVAC equipment, such as Rooftop Units, Split Systems, Water-Source Heat Pumps, Air Handlers, VRF Systems, pumps, and other plant equipment.
- Repair and replace HVAC components like coils, motors, belts, boards, relays, actuators, filters, and other parts.
- Manage and schedule materials needed to complete service projects and repairs.
- Install HVAC equipment, refrigerant piping, control wiring, and devices. Electrical knowledge is helpful but not required.
- Review and interpret equipment submittals, sequences of operations, and scopes of work. Understanding blueprints and construction plans is helpful but not required.
- Complete tasks assigned by the project manager or foreman to a high standard.
- Communicate and coordinate with Hardesty's project management team, the General Contractor, and other subcontractors.
- Lead, instruct, and assist junior mechanics and helpers alongside Hardesty's leadership team.
- Have the necessary personal hand and power tools for HVAC service work.

Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience as HVAC service technician. (10 years preferred)
- Ability to work Monday-Friday, with a flexibility to work evenings, nights and weekends if and when required. Any evening and weekend work will be discussed and scheduled, with additional compensation.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written), with a competency in English.
- Ability to work in a physical environment, withstanding exposure to the elements, tight spaces and heights.
- Good organizational skills & attention to detail.
- Ability to work under high pressure.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Possess valid driver's license.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
