Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Commercial Project Manager to oversee and contribute to the successful completion of commercial and occasional residential projects. Looking for someone with 10+ years experience in HVAC. This role requires hands-on installation expertise, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to ensuring jobs are completed efficiently and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management:
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee commercial HVAC projects from start to finish, ensuring quality and timeliness.
- Monitor project budgets, timelines, and resources to meet deadlines and financial goals.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, vendors, and team members, ensuring clear communication and expectations.
- Installation Support:
- Assist with hands-on HVAC installation and service tasks as needed to meet project deadlines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation challenges in the field.
- Ensure all installations comply with company standards, safety regulations, and local codes.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor installation teams, ensuring proper workflow and task delegation.
- Conduct regular project site visits to evaluate progress and address any concerns.
- Promote a culture of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Administrative Duties:
- Prepare job schedules, progress reports, and project documentation.
- Order materials and coordinate deliveries to ensure projects stay on track.
- Collaborate with sales and service teams to align project goals with client expectations.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years experience in HVAC project management and installation, preferably in commercial settings.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, and installation processes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience managing both commercial and residential HVAC projects.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., EPA Certification, NATE Certification) are a plus.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
