The Certified Daikin HVAC Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of Daikin HVAC systems across our diverse portfolio of properties, including high-rise buildings. This role requires a strong background in HVAC systems, specifically Daikin products, to ensure optimal climate control and comfort for our guests.
Essential Functions

· Install Daikin HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, heat pumps, and ventilation systems, adhering to manufacturer guidelines and building codes.
· Work on various high-rise properties to set up and commission systems efficiently and safely.
· Perform regular maintenance on Daikin systems to maximize efficiency, longevity, and guest satisfaction.
· Conduct inspections, clean coils and filters, check refrigerant levels, and calibrate controls.
· Diagnose and troubleshoot issues within Daikin systems, using advanced diagnostic tools.
· Repair or replace faulty components, including compressors, condensers, fans, and electrical elements, while ensuring minimal disruption to hotel operations.
· Adapt to the unique challenges of high-rise HVAC systems, including managing complex ductwork, multi-zone controls, and vertical system configurations.
· Perform work safely and in compliance with building codes and safety regulations specific to high-rise properties.
· Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including parts used and system performance data.
· Submit reports on system status, repair needs, and recommended upgrades.
· Collaborate with hotel management to ensure guest comfort through timely and effective HVAC service.
· Interact professionally with guests when needed, explaining HVAC issues in a clear and approachable manner.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days vary based on business needs. This includes weekends, holidays, evenings and/or overnight shifts.
Required Education and Experience
- EPA I, II, or Universal certification needed.
- Certification as a Daikin Technician, with specialized knowledge in Daikin HVAC systems.
- HVAC Certification and EPA Certification for handling refrigerants.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years working with HVAC systems, with a focus on high-rise buildings.
· High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical wiring, and control systems.
- Familiarity with high-rise building HVAC systems and related challenges.
· Highly responsible and reliable.
· Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
· Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining call and courteous at all times.
· Flexible schedule. Able to work weekends and holidays.
