Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson and apprentice Electricians o join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in electrical systems, with expertise in both residential and commercial environments. This role requires a thorough understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC), blueprint reading, and the ability to work with various electrical schematics. The Journeyperson Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with NEC standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using logical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, including maintenance person services, to complete projects efficiently.
- Perform frame carpentry tasks as required for electrical installations.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with local codes and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Journeyperson/apprentice Electrician in industrial, residential or commercial settings.
- Strong knowledge of NEC guidelines and safety practices related to electrical work.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding electrical schematics.
- Familiarity with residential and commercial wiring
- Experience in frame carpentry is a plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
