Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Kitchen Equipment Service Technician to join our team. This role is essential for maintaining and repairing kitchen equipment in commercial settings, ensuring that all appliances operate efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and have experience in property maintenance, HVAC systems, and equipment repair.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on kitchen equipment, including ovens, refrigerators, dishwashers, and other appliances.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues to identify problems and implement effective solutions.
- Conduct inspections of equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and any follow-up actions required.
- Assist in the installation of new kitchen equipment as needed.
- Drive to various job sites as required, ensuring timely arrival for scheduled service calls.
Requirements
- Proven experience in property maintenance or as a service technician, preferably in the kitchen equipment or HVAC industry.
- Strong mechanical skills with the ability to diagnose and repair various types of kitchen appliances.
- Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with air conditioning systems is advantageous.
- Ability to build and design custom solutions for unique equipment challenges.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for transportation to job sites.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
