What You'll Do
As a Lead Maintenance Person at Honey Homes, you'll provide proactive, high-quality home maintenance for our members, from routine tasks like changing air filters and gutter cleaning to one-off requests such as installing smart home devices or fixing a light switch. You'll also coordinate community services, such as organizing a knife sharpening event or holiday light installations.
You’ll manage 30-50 homes within a single territory, becoming a trusted part of the community. Supported by our technology, you’ll focus on delivering exceptional service while Honey Homes helps you grow your career with training and advancement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on major home appliances and systems
- Organize neighborhood events and group services
- Build lasting relationships with members as their go-to home advisor
- Provide feedback to improve our service offerings
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills - personable, trustworthy, and solution-focused
- Proficiency in basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting tasks
- Expertise in maintaining and troubleshooting home appliances and systems
- Comfortable installing and modifying Wi-Fi, smart locks, and other smart home devices
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality work
- Commitment to safety
Experience:
- Minimum 6 years in apartment maintenance or 6 years in single-family home maintenance / construction
- Licensed general contractors, electricians, and plumbers are highly encouraged to apply
- Valid driver’s license
