Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to start a rewarding career in the electrical field. As an Apprentice Electrician, you will work under the supervision of experienced electricians, gaining hands-on experience in various electrical tasks and projects. You will be exposed to both residential and industrial environments, learning essential skills that will contribute to your professional development.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively on construction sites.
- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to understand project requirements.
- Conduct tests using an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electrical issues.
- Work with low voltage systems as directed by senior electricians.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and accurately.
Experience
- Previous experience or coursework in electrical systems is a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical concepts is beneficial.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics is desirable.
- A strong willingness to learn from experienced professionals in the field of electrical work.
- Must be able to work effectively on construction sites, adhering to safety standards.

Pay: $17.50 - $22.68 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
