*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated Safety Manager to join our team. The Safety Manager will be responsible for overseeing the safety protocols and procedures within our organization to ensure a secure work environment for all employees. *Responsibilities* - Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with relevant regulations - Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards - Investigate accidents or incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions - Provide safety training and development programs for employees - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements - Manage workers' compensation claims and return-to-work programs - Conduct emergency response drills and ensure readiness for any workplace emergencies - Oversee first aid and CPR training programs - Prepare detailed reports on safety performance and incidents *Qualifications* - Proficient in fabricating safety programs tailored to the organization's needs - In-depth knowledge of Workers Compensation law and regulations - Experience with EPA regulations and compliance - Strong background in training development related to safety practices - Skilled in root cause analysis for incident investigations - Familiarity with OSHA standards and requirements - Certification or degree in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) or related field is preferred
