Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, with the ability to diagnose and repair various HVAC equipment. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and is committed to providing excellent service to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to understand system layouts and components.
- Troubleshoot issues with air conditioning units, furnaces, and other HVAC equipment.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems.
- Provide field service support for clients, addressing their concerns promptly and professionally.
- Repair or replace defective parts as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used.
Skills
- Proficiency in reading schematics related to HVAC systems.
- Strong knowledge of air conditioning principles and practices.
- Ability to plumb and build necessary connections for HVAC installations.
- Experience in field service operations related to HVAC systems.
- Skilled in equipment repair and maintenance tasks.
- Familiarity with appliance repair techniques as they relate to HVAC systems.
- Previous experience as a service technician or mechanic is preferred but not required.
