Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems and equipment
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on HVAC systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues
- Repair or replace defective parts in HVAC systems
- Conduct performance tests on HVAC systems
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of HVAC/R systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations related to HVAC systems
- Familiarity with tools, equipment, and materials used in HVAC installation and repair
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Skills:
- Service technician experience in the HVAC industry
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems
- Experience with boilers, air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and appliance repair
- Familiarity with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems
- Welding skills for fabrication or repair work on HVAC components
- Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus
