Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems, with a focus on residential and light commercial HVAC systems. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and service heat pumps, gas furnaces, air conditioners, dual fuel systems, mini splits, water heaters, duct work and indoor air quality products. There may be times where we work on other mechanical equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC systems using various tools and techniques.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and operational procedures.
- Utilize tools such as manometers, temperature probes and other meters to test electrical components of HVAC systems.
- Perform plumbing tasks related to HVAC installations and repairs as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, service calls, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Work overtime as needed
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in property maintenance.
- Ability to plumb and maintain various HVAC components effectively.
- Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations related to HVAC work.
- Experience reading schematics for installation and repair purposes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience in HVAC maintenance
- Must have tools necessary to complete listed tasks
- Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical systems
- Strong mechanical knowledge to diagnose and repair HVAC systems
- Ability to perform property maintenance tasks efficiently
- Familiarity with reading and interpreting schematics for HVAC equipment
- Valid driver's license for van driving duties
- Certification in HVAC/R required
- No DUI's- Fair driving record

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 50 per week
