About New Brew
New Brew is a line of great tasting, natural beverages that leverage active botanicals to deliver effects you can truly feel-- mood elevation, focus, and stress relief-- all accomplished without alcohol or cannabis. New Brew is based in Los Angeles and was launched in March 2023.
Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced beverage sales professional to lead our distribution efforts in the Austin market. You will join our exciting new venture at the ground floor and the role will have room to grow along with the company as we continue to scale our distribution efforts. You will spend your day winning new customers across a variety of sales channels, increasing sales velocity of existing customers, and growing brand awareness for New Brew across Austin.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with buyers at store level.
- Managing accounts and gaining additional placements within stores, including secondary points of purchase and cooler placement.
- Plan out and prioritize weekly strategies to optimize field time- roughly hitting 20 accounts daily, closing voids, increasing shelf presence, merchandising, and taking reorders from store managers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with bodega stores to promote and sell our beverage products.
- Utilize existing contacts and references in the bodega retail space to expand our market presence.
- Ensure execution of new distribution launches, promotions, and secondary placements.
- Effective merchandising in-store with POS materials.
- Provide weekly recaps and updates from the field.
- Perform demos as needed to support field events, new store openings, in-store activations.
Qualifications
- Lives in Austin
- Great sales, communication, management, and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English is required..
- Direct selling experience in the beverage industry.
- A reliable vehicle (ideally an SUV or van) with valid insurance.
- Competitive, highly motivated, and self-driven.
- Flexible with the ability to evolve as business needs change.
- Professional conduct within and outside the office while conducting client relationships while building the business.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
