Job Summary
Seeking a skilled Commercial Restaurant/HVAC Technician to join our team.
In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the proper troubleshooting, diagnosing, maintenance and repair of restaurant and facilities ensuring equipment maintenance and repairs are completed in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine general maintenance tasks such as painting and repairing drywall in residential units
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance issues as proactively as possible
- Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies
- Welding and fabrication as needed
- Supervise and coordinate contractors for specialized projects/repairs
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for work order management
Requirements
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical manuals
- Experience in facilities maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Ability to weld and fabricate metal structures is highly desired
- Strong leadership skills to work well independently and grown into supervising sub contractors and staff
- Knowledge of using an ohmmeter for electrical testing
- Fluency in English for effective communication with team members, subs and vendors
-Ability to trouble shoot and problem solve
-EPA Certification desired
This opportunity could involve occasional weekend or evening work as requested by the client.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
