Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, with the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various HVAC equipment. This role requires mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in the field, ensuring that all systems operate efficiently and effectively.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including ammonia refrigeration units.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment.
- Troubleshoot issues using diagnostic tools such as an ohmmeter.
- Perform appliance repairs as needed to ensure optimal performance of heating and cooling systems.
- Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address HVAC-related concerns in residential or commercial settings.
- Design and implement efficient HVAC solutions tailored to specific client needs.
- Weld components as necessary for repairs or installations.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used.
Skills
- Proficient in ammonia refrigeration systems and their applications.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair various HVAC systems.
- Experience in field service operations related to HVAC maintenance and repair.
- Familiarity with appliance repair techniques and tools.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in property maintenance settings.
- Competence in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical components.
- Welding skills are a plus for performing necessary repairs on equipment.
