Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving, ensuring optimal performance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The HVAC Technician will work both independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality service to our clients.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems.
- Perform repairs on ammonia refrigeration systems and boilers as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in HVAC technology.
Qualifications
- Journeyman license Required
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC/R systems.
- Experience in appliance repair or plumbing is a plus.
- Valid driver's license with the ability to operate a van for field service duties.
- Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is preferred.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Certification or relevant training in HVAC technology is advantageous but not mandatory.
Guaranteed 40 hours, pay based on experience. Some travel is required (Transportation will be provided), along with some on-call after-hours.
