Position Overview:
The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing project teams, and driving both sales and company growth. This role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to manage multiple projects, and a keen focus on delivering outstanding customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of painters and project managers, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Monitor job progress and troubleshoot any issues to maintain high-quality standards.
- Collaborate with the sales team to drive growth and meet revenue targets.
- Oversee project scheduling, staffing, and materials procurement.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the entire project lifecycle.
- Implement systems and processes to improve efficiency and performance across the company.
- Ensure that all safety protocols and regulations are followed on job sites.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a management role, preferably in the construction or painting industry.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Knowledge of residential painting projects and best practices.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Sales experience and a drive to help the business grow.
