What You'll Do:
- Site Assessment: Evaluate the optimal location for generator installation, considering factors like space, ventilation, noise, and proximity to electrical panels.
- Generator Assembly & Installation: Assemble and install generators, connect fuel and electrical lines, and ensure all installations meet safety and building code standards.
- Electrical Wiring & Connections: Safely connect generators to the building’s electrical system, ensuring proper synchronization and adherence to safety standards.
- Fuel System Setup: Work alongside plumbers to configure and connect propane or natural gas fuel systems, ensuring all installations meet proper guidelines.
- Testing & Commissioning: Perform detailed tests to ensure the generator operates correctly, including load testing, voltage and frequency checks, and verification of the automatic transfer switch (ATS) functionality during power outages.
What We're Looking For:
- Customer-Centric Approach: Meet and exceed customer expectations by responding promptly to service calls and completing work efficiently within cost and time estimates.
- Technical Proficiency: Read and follow blueprints or technical drawings with precision.
- Code Compliance: Conduct installations in strict accordance with local municipal codes.
- Valid Driver’s License: A clean driving record and valid driver’s license are required.
- Independence & Responsibility: You should be able to work independently and take ownership of your projects.
- Exceptional Customer Service: Ensure that every customer interaction leaves a lasting positive impression.
