Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pipefitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HVAC/R systems, with expertise in maintaining and repairing various piping systems. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and as part of a team to ensure efficient operation and service of refrigeration and HVAC systems.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair piping systems for HVAC/R applications.
- Perform field service tasks, including troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with refrigeration units.
- Utilize welding techniques to fabricate and repair pipes as needed.
- Conduct routine inspections of piping systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Use tools such as an Ohmmeter for electrical testing related to pipefitting tasks.
- Collaborate with service technicians to address appliance repair needs effectively.
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and industry standards while performing all duties.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in pipefitting or a related field, particularly in HVAC/R systems.
- Strong mechanical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex systems.
- Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently in the field while managing time effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in using various hand tools and equipment related to pipefitting tasks.
- Certification or training in relevant fields is a plus.

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
